Ambit Energy Guarantees Customer Satisfaction

Ambit Energy announced a new Customer Satisfaction Guarantee for residential electricity customers in Texas.

“Many consumers across the state have not taken advantage of their opportunity to save money by switching their electric provider because they are skeptical that it is safe,” said Chris Chambless, Ambit Energy Chief Marketing Officer. “Our goal is to reassure customers that it is safe to save, and our new satisfaction guarantee puts it in writing.”

Over 70% of Texas consumers who are eligible to choose a provider are still with their incumbent provider. Ambit’s guarantee promises customers that there will be no loss of power during their conversion from their previous provider to Ambit Energy.

“We are so certain a customer’s transition to Ambit Energy service will be flawless that we’re willing to guarantee it,” said Jim McFelea, Ambit Energy SVP of Operations. “If, for any reason, Ambit Energy disconnects your service during the switching process, we’ll pay your first month’s bill. No questions asked.”

Through its growing base of independent sales Consultants, Ambit Energy is helping educate consumers across the state that it is safe to save money on their electric service, and that they can also expect a higher level of personalized service.
